If Chelsea wants to qualify for the Champions League next season Pochettino's focus should be much greater on the Premier League because this route is one way for them to play in the Champions League. Of course, it is not an easy matter to finish in the top four of the standings because there are many other clubs that appear much more consistent than Chelsea at the moment. This victory was the start of a comeback for Chelsea and if Pochettino can make better use of this, it can certainly bring them back to getting positive results in every match.
The problem is, I'm not sure Pochettino is capable of bringing Chelsea through to the Champions League next season. The team's performance is still poor and they always find it difficult to win game after game, so of course there are big doubts about Chelsea's chances of getting to the Champions League next season.
I certainly can't say for sure what will happen to Chelsea throughout this season, but Pochettino basically has a big challenge to build on the quality and mentality of the team that is currently missing. Chelsea is like a team that has lost its identity, but I hope Pochettino can improve it defensively if he gets the full trust of management.
The thing is that the owner of Chelsea will just have to give him the benefit of doubt because Chelsea as a whole was already scattered during the end of their last season performance so it's still a building phase for pochettino and although the club is having it hard to win game but their is still potential in the gameplay so given him time to balance up the whole squad.
