Suspicious? Nah, it's just the typical alt account shitposting, thread-bumping sockpuppetry BS that's been going on in various sections for years now. It's standard operating procedure for any new project, altcoin, or whatever to get noticed here.
Even if the moderator does not take immediate action against such users, you can monitor their behavior in the future, and if they continue with the same behavior, report their new posts to the moderator once more.
From what I've seen, they usually just do hit-and-run jobs if it's for a specific purpose, and nobody ever knows who's behind any of these various accounts. Personally I wouldn't bother keeping an eye on anything; I'd just report one or two posts to the mods with a note that the thread is becoming a puppet museum.
