Well, it's not like the quote originated from him, afaik it's a pretty old ideology already? In addition, it's a really optimistic ideology. It's not like doing what you want can pay your bills all the time. Sure, if what you want is a niche that's famous or is useful, then yea, but what if it wasn't? What if it was extremely obscure? Things can become really hard in a matter of moments. Not that I'm contradicting with it though.

I mean I myself am doing work I truly enjoy and would probably not turn to other methods even if they bring in more money, but only because it can support me right now. If it couldn't, I probably would've already moved over to something else. But well, I guess it's an idea that a lot of people can believe in. There's probably a lot better opportunities nowadays as well compared to the past.
