I fall under the category of those gamblers who take a break after losing a decent amount of money in gambling.
Mostly the breaks are for few weeks until I make a new deposit again and start gambling.
I think it is necessary to take short breaks so that we don't get addicted to gambling.
It also makes us a responsible gambler by keeping a track of our losses.
This is a great practice as a gambler. This is highly recommended for those gamblers who are unable to stop and get addicted eventually. Chasing your loss instead of taking a break to analyze what your mistakes are is not what a responsible gambler would do. It's all about the psychology that goes on in our heads. The best way to counter this is to take a break from what is causing the issue. The moment we divert our mind from gambling, we can realize the mistakes. Because our mind won't be in a rush.
Only taking short breaks won't help totally if you don't want to get addicted to gambling. But it is a great practice. It will minimize your losses.
This can happen to those who are not the real addicted gamblers and for those addicted gamblers they don't have break, they are always to gamble whether they loss or not. As for me, I take break every time I lose a game. If the loss is not big, I would take a short break and if the loss is big, guys I took a long break to forget about the money first before coming back to the gambling field again.
