I'm a bit confused here. What kind of losing strategy you have used which cost 0.024 BTC to wager 200k satoshi! Even it won't cost 0.024 BTC to wager 0.05 BTC only if you use any wagering strategies. Were you doing all-in on 1.01×? Perhaps, you aren't an actual gambler.
10% profit on win is probably the strategy he used. I remember doing this when I got the promo email. Managed to wager the required amount really fast and without any issues. It's all about luck.

It's a strategy like any other and has its pros and cons.

In my case, the problem was that when I executed the bets the promo was already expired, since it last for only 6 hours... Tongue
