I was thinking more in the 10-25 Dollar range.

EDIT: 1% would be too much imo. 0,1% fits the purpose of getting rid of those flatline-charts in series, which my suggestion mainly was about.
Personally, i don't care about the price reminder if it is less than 1% change, but $100 as a "limit" is fine too (at these prices).
imho, $15-25 is too "granular" for being of much use.
I don't know, really. Both of our opinions are right.
After all, CB was meant as a service to us, so why do we get so annoyed by it? I mean, if we had more postings going per hour, how much would CB's posts weigh in contrast? It's too dynamic to form an easy decision, somehow (at least for me).

That seems to be part of the reason that no change to "our" buddy is needed.

Thank god (or richie_t, whichever comes first) for our ability to have a buddy that shows us walls and prices upon the hour every hour and without fail (except when it does fail), and it's starting to seem like a moment to stop whining about our ability and privilege to have a nice thing. that is also called our buddy thingie-ma-jiggie.

On second thought, the frustration about CB "spamming" is maybe just an expression of the things we (or some of we ... er... WO) want to see: CB posting hourly in number-goes-up-laura times? More like the old human habit of blaming the messenger for bad messages?
Still, no reason to not adapt CB's code for update frequency depending on magnitude of price change.
I'm seeing it more like a thought experiment. In the end it's Richie's decision.
