Before maybe but I believe verification has gotten stricter now. Now it requires you for a selfie, so I'm sure kids won't pass it. New technologies are always being reported and many adults now use a social media. They can also see it there. They are fully aware of what is happening around the world but it will still boil down if how they secure their belongings because many parents are failing when it comes to this.

Even without a KYC, there might still be a way to prove ownership and recover the account. KYC is only an added risk because our KYC can also get stolen once a hacking occurs. Some that do a KYC can commit an abuse, and then a casino can commit it as well.
Hopefully, minors will have difficulty or even be unable to carry out verification at the casino, which can prevent them from carrying out KYC. But after all, children can pass this KYC stage because they can think about how to get a solution. Additionally, kids can get a casino that will not ask or ask them to do KYC and they can continue using their account without worrying about anything.

Children may know better how to deal with KYC, especially if they are used to solving problems without needing to ask adults. Children can now use technology well without guidance or learning from their parents or other adults.
