I’ve been reading through a couple of sources on the matter, and perhaps it’s related to where you’ve installed the app (the type of memory). Apparently, the permission it’s asking for could be the result of the app needing to access an external device, so I’m wondering if you’ve installe the app on an SD card or alike, as opposed to using the internal memory. It this is so, you could try moving it to internal memory to see if it is still asking you to grant the said permission.
