We can say that it was quite a disappointing performance for PSG, how could 10 shots on target but not one of them was a goal, how inconsistent their attack was which could play well but instead was very poor in finishing when facing the weakest team this season.
Clermont being able to get a point when facing PSG was certainly beyond their expectations even though it was only one point, and PSG had wasted the opportunity to have the same points as Monaco.
I'm not completely saying PSG's finishing was bad, but the opposing goalkeeper's performance was still better. PSG shot 21 times and 10 of them were on goal. You have to know how well Mory Diaw looked, who was quick to keep the goal from conceding, so I think it was an unfavorable match for PSG. Other whise, it was a really good day for the defense and the whole Clermont team even though they had to work so hard to mark PSG who dominated the attack. Their great work paid off by securing 1 point, it was almost the same as winning the match for them.
Luis Enrique seem under a lot of pressure at the start of this competition because he had only won 3 of 7 matches for PSG in Ligue 1. Their performance was good, but they were unlucky in terms of scoring goals. I'm not sure what the problem is, but this team needs to improve for better results.
