I fall under the category of those gamblers who take a break after losing a decent amount of money in gambling.
Mostly the breaks are for few weeks until I make a new deposit again and start gambling.
I think it is necessary to take short breaks so that we don't get addicted to gambling.
It also makes us a responsible gambler by keeping a track of our losses.
This is a great practice as a gambler. This is highly recommended for those gamblers who are unable to stop and get addicted eventually. Chasing your loss instead of taking a break to analyze what your mistakes are is not what a responsible gambler would do. It's all about the psychology that goes on in our heads. The best way to counter this is to take a break from what is causing the issue. The moment we divert our mind from gambling, we can realize the mistakes. Because our mind won't be in a rush.
Only taking short breaks won't help totally if you don't want to get addicted to gambling. But it is a great practice. It will minimize your losses.
I must agree with this. When you think that your losses have obviously outnumbered your winnings and your funds have been affected already, I think the wisest decision is to stay away from gambling temporarily because that’s the only way you can save again and regain what you have lose. Maybe divert your attention into something useful and entertaining as well. Gambling is certainly a game of chance and luck, so you can’t assume that you’ll be lucky the whole time. If you think you have earned spare cash to gamble again, then try your luck but this time set your limits already before you will lose all your.m funds again.
