Chelsea's match strategy was good. I would say Chelsea's main strength is their strong defence. I have no complaints about Chelsea's defence. In most matches I have seen better performances from Chelsea's defenders. However, coach Pochettino has to work on Chelsea's attack. Chelsea management should have strengthened their attack this season, adding experienced and talented strikers to the squad. Chelsea have talented strikers like Sterling, Nkunku and Mudryk in their squad. But coach Pochettino is not able to use this striker well. The bond between the strikers is also weak. If the chemistry between the strikers is good then maybe Chelsea's attack will be seen in a stronger form in the coming matches.
They are already a good team, just because they got bad results doesn't mean that they are not a good team, but they just couldn't get the results so far and with this game they got the result they wanted in the end. I believe that we are going to see them do this well from here on out. They have built a team that should easily be in top 6 without a doubt, could be in the top four as well if they did alright but they didn't and I am expecting them to do a lot better on the long run.
This requires them to have a great streak just like they had a bad one, a 5 win streak for example would be amazing for them and would give them a result that would be all that much better. I personally hope that the best thing they can do is to take this win as an example and end up with a streak.
In fact, Chelsea has the potential to develop, it's just that the process is going a bit late.
