I was one of the people who thought Fulham would be able to beat Chelsea again, but my expectations seemed wrong and Chelsea was able to win this match. Maybe Pochettino has found a new strategy for his players to be more coordinated and the results are quite satisfying. I think they have to maintain their performance in other matches and if that is successful then Chelsea will be able to quickly climb to where they should be and not stay at the bottom of the table. It's true that scoring two goals is very difficult, especially since Chelsea had so much difficulty scoring goals a month ago. It is hoped that Mudryk can prove his quality at the price paid by Chelsea and start working harder with the other players in order to get what Chelsea has targeted later.
There were too many speculations about the Fulham vs Chelsea before start of this match with current form mostly were feeling things could be favorable for the Fulham because they were doing good job and Chelsea having serious troubles but Pochettino done good change in his strategy and it works for them as well which allow having early lead, and then they were able to keep things on good level with Fulham try his best but fail to break the deadlock and score any goal which is good for the Chelsea.
Mudryk score his first goal as Chelsea fan which is surely good for this exciting player because after paying huge amount for his transfer there was too much talk about him and his quality hopefully now after having this winning goal his confidence level will improve, and he will be able to score more goals and his team at better spot.
Pochettino is basically doing what he can given the situation Chelsea found themselves in after last season, so the win over Fulham was partly natural. Chelsea's squad is much more expensive than Fulham's, and in general, they had to start playing at some point. Mudryk broke his curse and managed to score in his 21 games it seems. So it will be easier for him psychologically for a while, as well as the rest of the team.
I hope Bowley will not give in to emotions and let Pochettino work until the end of the season, so that at least next season the team will be able to fight for prizes.
