Monaco are doing really great this season. They are very productive when it comes to scoring goals as well - 18 goals in 7 games. But their defending is not as solid as their attacking side. Therefore Monaco should focus on improving their defending more from now on. Because it won't be easy to keep being consistent during the season.
You need to stay solid in multiple areas to play bigger. This would be the only way to benefit from PSG's inconsistency. Lens missed the chance last season but I'm curious about whether it will be the same for Monaco as well. Monaco or some other team it would be nice to see a different champion.
Indeed, even though Monaco are currently at the top of the standings, they have also conceded so many goals in these 7 matches. But I think as long as they can win and have a winning mentality to keep winning then this is not a problem. On the other hand, maybe Monaco must be ready for the next match so that no points can be stolen from their opponents. This week's match will be against Reims and we know that Reims is currently in good form. So Monaco must be careful not to shift its position this week.
From the start of this season Monaco is having impressive run even in last few matches they faced problems but after defeating Marseille they are back at the top of the league table but in round eight things could be more interesting because if they are able to keep things at this level then surely we will have them at the top for few more weeks because mostly other teams are having troubling start of this season specially teams like Lens, Lyon and Marseille are in lower half of the league table and PSG is also having not good time with goalless draw is hurting their confidence badly against team like Clermont which is second at bottom.
Monaco needs to work on their defence if they want to have better things currently they concede 10 goals which are most in top half of the league table even their attack is doing impressive but still they need to work on this all for having good chance in this season.
