A very impressive victory for Newcastle United, they were the most doubtful team to qualify from this most difficult group but what they showed against PSG slowly changed their status into a team to be reckoned with and this big win proves that they can play in the Champions League this season is not only because the strong teams in the English Premier League performed poorly last season but because they have the ability to play in this prestigious competition.
However, the results of other matches in the same group put Dotmund and AC Milan below Newcastle and PSG. Dortmund not being able to get 3 points against AC Milan at their own home will put them in an even more difficult position compared to the other 3 teams in the group.
Seriously, Newcastle played very impressively yesterday, and they really performed more than my expectations because I never expected them to gain three points against PSG because of their reduction in their performances in their domestic league. Again, I see PSG as a very big club that Newcastle will find hard to defeat, but surprisedly, Newcastle won the game 4-1, and that was a crazy surprise I received yesterday. Currently, I can't say what will happen in the group, but with this performance, I will say that Newcastle have started creating ways to qualify for the next round because, as I view it now, Newcastle will try their best with any team in the group. If they can win, they will try to draw, but let's see how their next match against Dortmund will be.
