Manchester United management paid Ten Hag huge funds to add players of Ten Hag's own choice to the squad. But even then Ten Hag completely failed to strengthen the team. Adding Onana to the squad was probably Ten Hag's mistake. But ten Hag was also wrong to make Hojlund the main striker of the squad this season. United needed an experienced striker. Hojlund is talented but not experienced enough. Hojlund still lacks the ability to consistently perform well and score goals.
