Manchester United and Manchester City both are rumoured to be planning to sign Brighton winger Mitoma in January. I would like to see Manchester United signing him instead because they would make use of a productive player like him more now. They are in a really desperate condition now.
Their defense is in terrible shape you know. At least they can make up for that a little more by scoring more goals. Mitoma is one of the a few members who can really make a big contribution in this way in the Premier League right now.
Manchester United are not doing well this season,and I knew Ten Hag would want to make more additions to the team.Ten Hag's side are really in a very bad shape at the moment,and they still want to atleast qualify for the next round in the champions league,which is going to be very impossible because they are losing regularly to teams they were not supposed to lose to.Meanwhile,Manchester City have lost Mahrez,but signed Jeremy Doku who is trying his best,but isn't upto the level of Mahrez,but I see this Mitoma as somebody who will do very well if he gets to a side that they are constantly dominating the field with possession.I prefer the player goes to City instead of Man u.
Kaoru Mitoma has been sensational and in great form for his club Brighton and Hove Albion since the start of the season and I expect big English clubs to come for his services in the winter transfer window. Manchester United and Manchester City are reported to be very interested in signing the Japanese.
With the current form of Manchester United, it'll be very difficult for a player to chose them over Manchester City while making a choice of which club to join. Manchester City has the potential of helping Mitoma's dream of winning the English Premier League than United and that's why I think the player will want to sign for City instead of United should the Citizens comes for his services.
