Exactly, if they already affecting other people and they are messing with them, that's another level of addiction, and we all know that it can really push a person to something that they are not doing in a usual way, something that most the time surprises those people around them, they are unable to figure it out if why that addicted person manage to go that far and do things unexpectedly.

Yes, the problem starts with the gambler but it can quickly escalate to people connected to the gambler, like family and friends, and people that actually depend on that person.

It is a tricky thing, but sometimes people end up in a bad situation
It is true that if we have friends who like to gamble, of course we will be influenced by gambling, as well as the relationship between the gambler and the closest people or family will tend to follow in his footsteps, because what is shown is the victory and enjoyment experienced by the gambler, it is impossible for the gambler to showing his defeat in front of others, that was absolutely impossible. And subconsciously those who follow it will face new problems in their lives, because they assume that gambling will get the same luck as the gambler, even though that is not necessarily the case.
