Liverpool in this match did not perform optimally but were still able to control the game so that the advantage was in their hands. For Liverpool, in my opinion, the European League will not be too difficult, you could even say that next season Liverpool will return to the Champions League competition. So, to fill in the time, there's no harm in enjoying their games in the Europa League. Especially in Group E, Liverpool has nothing to worry about.
So far there are 7 outstanding teams in the tournament and the competition is getting interesting, however I consider Liverpool as one of the strongest contenders of the Europa League I love their performance this season in both domestic and the major league they're competing in,they're among the 7 outstanding teams which are unbeaten and are currently leading on the table in the group E.
ìf you check the stats in the game against Union Saint you'll see that Liverpool performed better in all areas of the game, they were more possessive and dominated the game mostly even created better chances and should had scored more goals than they did in the match, I think Liverpool would do well in the tournament, with the way they're performing however I can't wait to see how they'll do against a bigger team in the tournament.
