I think this effect of winning actually happens to every gambler and it only takes a well principled mind to avoid this effect.
When you're gambling and the next thing in plan is to expect your game to come with winning and things doesn't work out as you have expected, this means there's nothing you can do to make it better than to embrace the fate if there's nothing to write on when the winning is not coming, but at least you have the benefit of the other way round which is the fun in gambling, your skills displayed and how you're able to engage the whole planning for the game played despite it all turned loss.
I have also encountered this effect before and the most annoying part is that you can even set a target for your withdrawal but that will actually depend on the way the winning actually comes
It is very wrong for us to first set a target before the winning comes, what if that is not the case, when we are gambling, we should be focused on the fact that we are taking risk on either winning or loosing and not until the game is over, we can't know which of the sides is wins or looses.
