Anybody here plan to invest in this coin for a long term? From what I read so far it seams like most people are looking for a short term and will dump this coin like a cheap whore once it reach $1 or $2. I think if this goes well it could go $100 - $300 in the long term, or any amount more than LTC and BTC but not surpass BTC because the code depends on BTC. Unless the dev somehow invent something novel (not just implementation of some existing algo like kecchak or groestl).

I'm invested in it for the long term. I don't like talking specifics but I'm a fairly large bag holder. Admittedly at first I was trying to increase my BTC holdings but after participating in the community and learning more about the technology I have changed my position. I am now a long term BC holder, I look forward to spending my BC and contributing to the growing community. I hope POS will overtake POW because it has many advantages including decentralization that actually represents Satoshi's original idea of the network being ran by users running the client, almost no energy use and incredible transaction speed.

That said I would also prefer slow and steady growth over spikes, I don't want this to be a quick rich quick scheme. I want us to be seen like a savings account with our 1% inflation with staking and steady buying power from the multipool to keep the price stable. That is why I would hope the community would focus on hashing rates, infrastructure and merchant adoption over price.

I'm doing my part by building the first BC centric exchange, where every currency is traded against BC. After we get this off the ground, we will be using the profits to invest in other BC projects to hopefully make it easier for merchants to use our coin and benefit from its stability and quickness.
