Sometimes PSG can perform well when there is doubt that they will be able to beat their opponent and vice versa they can be very disappointing even though the team they are facing is the bottom team but they can only play to a draw.

Not only because they need it due to the table, they are not leading the league and they can't afford to lose more points, it might be still early in the season but trying to come back from some deficit would be harder and it should be a lot worse if we are not careful, we need to end up with something much better if we know what we are doing.
This is why it's smarter to do something that should be an easy win for them and I will bet on them to win it as well. Also, another reason for them to try to win would be the humiliating loss to Newcastle recently, they need their last game to be a domination, they need to show the world and more importantly their fans that they are not that bad and they are trying their best and so forth. If they end up losing points here as well then fans will be looking for blood and that's never a good thing, they can't keep getting worse, they need to show some improvement on this game.
