I don’t see how Ten Hag would be anything short of praise and gratitude to McTominay for coming off the bench and scoring 2 goals in less than 5 minutes within the plus times to enable Manchester United take the lead. It was a lost course already with the compact nature of the Brentford defense but, McTominay was better positioned every time and this time, Maguire was on the assist!
It was one of the most dramatic games I've seen this season. I think Ten Haag will be sacked if United lose that game again. Ten Hag had to praise and thank McTominay for his outstanding performance.
I thought that Man United would face defeat again. They dominated the game, but all these efforts still did not result in a goal. Conditions changed when Ten Hag brought on McTominay to replace Sofyan Amrabat in the 87th minute. Even though McTominay only played a few minutes, he played a role as a player who was at the right time and position to bring victory to Man United.
