Right. it is like having a game plan when you are gambling where setting a win limit is like having a finish line in mind. When you reach it, you cash out and call it a day, making sure you leave with some extra cash in your pocket. It is all about avoiding that tempting urge to keep going and risking your winnings. Responsible gambling is about enjoying the thrill while being mindful of your limits, making sure you don't end up losing what you have gained.
This is a good game plan and advice but do you think it's easy to abide by it? Before a gambler can win at times, it takes time, and this is the reason why they tend to play more when they have the opportunity to win far more than what they staked. I believe this is a mental thing and it takes a very good self-restraint for this to happen. A wise gambler will win much and quit at least for the day, but for the foolish one, that's the beginning of the play, which is why most of them will lose some and might end up losing all the money they initially gained. Gambling needs much calculation and self-restraint. I side you on this, if gamblers win much at a time, they can remove half of the money and plan to gamble with the other half, and still wisely need to still wisely distribute the half into more parts for future gambling to lower the risk.
I really agree with everything that is said here a gamblers must be really good at controlling himself, winning in large amounts is of course not easy, it requires sacrifice to be able to achieve it. If they wins with an amount that they thinks is not big, of course they will continue playing until they get a win that meets their expectations, sometime small wins are our luck and indeed most gambler only get small profits from the losses we have incurred for gambling.
Never put too much hope in gambling because if you follow the desire to chase losses, you will experience more losses and will cause your financial condition to get worse.
