In 2010, one Bitcoin was just $0.20, and buying 5,000 Bitcoin would cost only $1000.
Compare that price as of then to today's price $27k plus, you would be obviously filthy rich.
So you mean if I invest $1000 in Bitcoin right now, in the next thirteen years Bitcoin price will reach $135,000,000 or 5,000x times higher?
This kind
convincing strategy is really bullshit, if people want to change their life, they need to learn a high paying skill instead of investing small amount of money and hoping the investment will increase really really high.
I didn't read anything where Op said that 13 years from now anyone has to buy 1000 dollars to become rich. It seems he just showed the situation 13 years ago that if there were people who invested 0.2 dollars, the price of BTC worth 1000 dollars is rich for sure at the price we have now.
But OP did not emphasize that we should buy at least $1,000 of bitcoin now and then wait 13 years for what happened 13 years ago to happen again. That's not what he said; well, he did mention that it would be nice to do the DCA, which he was right about. I don't see any reason why what he said is bullshit. I'm not defending the OP; I'm just showing what the argument is being discussed here; it's just that your interpretation is different.
