Sadly, we won't be seeing the BAD this season since the team's been disbanded. I'm sure fans would have loved to welcome them, especially after they gave the Ginebra Gin Kings such a tough challenge in their first attempt. But hey, I'm still hoping for some top-notch entertainment, maybe even more than before!
I think even before, Bay Area Dragons was not the expected team to play again as a visitor in the PBA. Just an option though.
There are lots of foreign teams that were targeted by the board but never it mentioned any names.
I hope another foreign team will be deployed on the PBA. It brings a good challenge to our locals especially the mid-tier teams.
I remember hearing the buzz that they might be making a comeback, but then the heartbreaking news dropped - turns out the team got disbanded because the management couldn't handle the costs of keeping the squad running. It's a bummer for sure, but maybe it's best to let that team rest in peace since they're no longer around.
But hey, it seems like the PBA might be onto something exciting by bringing in foreign teams to the competition. Not only does it get fans all hyped up, but it's likely raking in some serious dough for the league. I mean, think about it: when a foreign squad ends up in the Finals, especially against Ginebra, you can bet folks are showing up to support, just like when our Gilas team faces off against other foreign teams. Good times for sure!
