Anyhow I want to know that if we delete our posts ourselves, does it have a bad effect on our account and can we still get tagged or something or it is completely normal ?
First off forum users delete messages for different reasons, for example :- it could be that the reply itself was off topic and you realised this and took it down
- someone might ask you to pull it down as it might contain sentive personal information about a forum user
- fyi others have gone has far as posting private keys in public and deleting a post is all done to correct these mistakes.
But does deleting a message leave a dent to our name, it's definitely yes and no..just because you deleted without the mods doing it doesn't mean someone else didn't see what was happening and if this tends to be a habit, you would
be surprised that people do notice these things and keeping tabs. Besides why write stuff that won't stick
just shows some thought never went into the writing .
