I agree, Bay Area really bring another level of entertainment a kind of competition that push the level of competition inside PBA has been challenge, I like the way Gin kings play them, though catching that last statement about how the refs help the home team, that's no secret on it, kind of moving back to Bay Area if only they did not disband, I'm looking to see if how SMB will challenged them, with the healthy JMF and TR7 I'm pretty sure there are lots of fans who are also interested to see them competing, sad to say that they will not come back and maybe PBA governors will find another new challenger as visiting team.
It is sad to note that visiting team/teams will spend tons of money on hotels plus their salaries, that is the reason why the Bay Area Dragons disbanded but i think PBA is working on bringing other teams to the league as guests as that makes the PBA exciting to watch if the guest is also a strong team like the BAD.
In terms of hotel expenses, it doesn't seem like a significant cost. The host league could potentially cover all those expenses, except for the players' salaries. That's just my suggestion, considering this is a business venture. If the players can bring in more revenue to the league than the league would spend, it's still a win-win situation for both parties.
