Interest in the Bundesliga had decreased because it had not been competitive for years. It was seen as a simple league that Bayern Munich always won, whereas Dortmund had many players that it brought to world football. Now there will be 2 or 3 teams that can compete with Bayern Munich and hopefully the championship will be won by a team other than Bayern soon. Like everyone else, I want it to be a competitive league.
Yes it was dominating for a long time but recently since past few years, Bayern haven't been upto mark due to which other clubs have found a way to get close to Bayern on the table. I think over th e next few years it will become more competitive as Bundesliga does have some crazy underdogs and if they find a way to be consistent then they can really become one to put the eyes on for title race. Everyone wants a competitive league and I think it is becoming slowly and I think it will become harder by harder as the season goes by.
Bayern Munich is still unbeaten in the Bundesliga, even though other clubs such as Leverkusen, Stuttgart are trying to take over the title which has been dominated by Bayern Munich, matches in the Bundesliga will be even more interesting if they see the new champion who can overtake Bayern Munich in the race for the title.
Leverkusen performance this season has improved rapidly and what is even more surprising is that Stuttgart can be in the top 4 of the current standings.
Leverkusen opportunity to win the Bundesliga will be realized if Leverkusen is able to maintain its consistency until the end of the season so thats it can become Bundesliga champions this seasons.
