I think the midfielder position is where he wants the most, but if the team's need is urgent to achieve victory then he must be willing to become a left back. Maybe that's a bit forced, but we know he's also very good at filling in at left back. In fact, I think Camavinga is still better than existing left-back options like Ferlan Mendy or Fran Garcia.
Camavinga plays best in midfield as a central defensive midfielder but he can play as a box to box midfielder too. He can play well as a box to box midfielder but he should sharpen his attacking skills more. He has good instinct to see space and holes in defense system of opponent and he can make accurate passes too. His shots are powerful too but he must improve accuracy of his shots and he must be more confident with his shots. I believe if Ancelotti allows Camavinga to shoot more, he even can score more goals than Federico Valverde.
Playing as left back is not his favorite task but with some issues in Real Madrid, Camavinga can be used as a temporary replacement for a while. He is ready to do this task and did not show any disappointment so far. It can help Camavinga to build up some good skills and have different views that can be helpful for him when returning to midfield.
