The mistake at MU has shifted from midfielder Harry Maguire to goalkeeper Andre Onana this season. Up to now, Onana has yet to show her abilities. Onana's first two matches in the Champions League for MU were indeed disasters. He made a mistake to help Bayern Munich win 4-3. In the most recent match against Galatasaray, Onana put the ball into the opponent's feet, causing Casemiro to receive a red card. Coach Erik Ten Hag still believes that Onana will improve performance quickly.
Onana played amazingly until this season, I do not think that we could put all the blame on him. I mean if a player is literally Ballon D'or candidate level (he is) because of how he played last year at Inter, and then he has been horrible so far here, maybe they need to take a look at something else? I am not saying he played amazingly, we all have seen how silly goals he conceded this season as well, but the sheer amount of it wouldn't be this bad. We already knew that their defense sucks and been bad for many years now and who did they get for the defense?
Not anyone that could make them much better. Hell at this point Rmaos could have been brought up and would still play better than the ones they have there, and it could have been good because at least he would yell at others to do their job better as well.
