Like the previous season Girona was also quite surprising, but at the end of that season their performance dropped drastically so they didn't get any tickets other big competitions in Europa. This season their performance is better than the previous season, it's quite impressive that in 9 matches they can be able collect 22 points, that's actually a good record. But yes, there is no guarantee that Girona can continue to be consistent until the end because their track record is not very convincing.
It is true that there is no guarantee for Girona to continue to be as consistent as he has been in the nine matches at the start of this season, but who knows if this season Girona will continue to try to be more consistent until the end of the season in order to create a better record for himself. Because being consistent for a full season will not be easy for all teams, this is because the mainstay players must not suffer injuries and receive cards that can cause players to be on the bench. So that's what Girona must continue to maintain if they want to continue competing at the top by being in the best position.
When I saw Girona, I was reminded of Sevilla in the previous 2 seasons who could also compete with Real Madrid. But the question that will always be asked when there is a club like them in the top flight is, will they be able to be consistent until the end of the season or not? Sevilla went through the same thing and still ended up losing second place at the end of the season, as Barcelona improved under Xavi H. We will always assume this until the end of the season and see if they are consistent or not.
I personally hope they can be consistent, so that I can see there are clubs that can provide tough competition not only the 3 clubs that I usually see.
