For a scammer to know how much money you have in your account already, that's to say he got the details of your account from the customer service of your bank. Because I don't see a way a scammer can dictate or know the amount of money in a stranger's account.

The scammers mostly targeted educationally weak people because they such people are easy targets for them.
Well, I agree with you the ones who offer you high returns are mostly scammers. In fact these days scammers are so smart that it would be really difficult to know who's a scammer and who isn't one.
