It is difficult for someone who wants to stop gambling to recover completely, it takes time and that also depends on the level of gambling addiction, if it is at a lower level it might be fast but at a high level then it takes time to process it, so far I have seen people trying to stop but If you don't have a strong desire in your heart, you will definitely end up failing and not succeeding.

The suggestion is that if you are addicted, you should reduce your gambling activities until the more you reduce them, the less your desire to gamble will decrease, so this method is more effective than completely stopping gambling immediately because it will hurt your feelings too. It is difficult to cure yourself of gambling addiction, so always avoid it. This happens by gambling more wisely and understanding that the risk of losing in gambling is very real so you have to understand if you experience defeat.
They need time to fully recover from gambling, but it is worth doing, especially if they have realized that they are too deep in gambling and want to start a new life without gambling. If they cannot control themselves to reduce their gambling activities, there is a possibility that they will continue to gamble without being able to reduce their gambling activities. And they may even get deeper into gambling. This depends on the strong desire of each gambler and they must be truly aware of reducing their gambling activities and even their gambling addiction.

Apart from reducing their gambling activities, they need to do other things so they can divert their attention to gambling and will not have too much desire to gamble. By continuing to do this, they can slowly reduce their gambling activities until they finally have better self-control. For this reason, they need other people to help them go through the process of reducing their gambling activities so that they feel they are not alone in doing it.

Yeah, that's the thing, pretty much all gamblers will end up losing more than what they win. But it is the few small wins that make them interested in trying again and again.

It's a tricky thing to get out of because everything in the casino is designed to keep the gamblers playing and betting as much as possible.
Getting a small win will make them even more curious about getting the big win, even though they should be able to realize that the big win will be more difficult to get. They don't need to try to get a big win and maybe they can try it a few days later so they can lower their emotions first rather than immediately continuing to gamble.

Only good self-control can prevent gamblers from always returning to gambling and not being tempted by the offers they see at the casino. They can restrain themselves from trying to win another big win because they know that they have had enough gambling and do not need to try too hard at gambling.

some people will get addicted faster to some things than other people (and other things)
if an individual is really sensitive to addictions the best thing to do it probably to just stay away of this things and focus on what brings him/her good experiences and feelings in the world

easier said than done sometimes but necessary.
That's very true because each person does not have good self-control, so many people will become addicted to gambling faster than others. They must really learn self-control so that they don't become addicted to gambling and won't be too interested in continuing to gamble, especially if they have won previously.
