so I will say that the performance is still good enough for them. They just have to be consistent. And looking at the matches that are coming up, I believe they have the capability to avoid loss. I want to be surprised if they stay on the second position of the table and the point difference between them and Barcelona get bigger.
If Barcelona keep dropping points against small teams in the league, just as they did against Granada in their last match, they will not stand a chance to compete for the title this season because Real Madrid and Girona are serious, are having a great time, and are consistent, which is what kept them at the top.
Btw it was only a draw and I think that even if it does hurt their form but not overall in terms of the title race as they remain the strongest candidates apart from Madrid in the La Liga trophy race this season.
Just because it's a draw doesn't mean they immediately can't compete even if you look at the current conditions, until week 9 Barcelona is the only club that has never tasted defeat so it's quite ridiculous to say Barcelona has no chance of winning back the championship they got last season.
