so I will say that the performance is still good enough for them. They just have to be consistent. And looking at the matches that are coming up, I believe they have the capability to avoid loss. I want to be surprised if they stay on the second position of the table and the point difference between them and Barcelona get bigger.
If Barcelona keep dropping points against small teams in the league, just as they did against Granada in their last match, they will not stand a chance to compete for the title this season because Real Madrid and Girona are serious, are having a great time, and are consistent, which is what kept them at the top.At this point , I don't think we can count out Girona from being outside top 6 by the of the season right ? They are having the best season in club history and also a strong squad that can sustain a long season with strong games because everyone will want to beat them , especially the ones behind them like ATL.Madrid, Sociedad , Betis and even Valencia because I all of them are great teams overall with high potential to finish in top 6. 
Their performance this season is surprising because they have improved their game plan, they now have consistency, and there is maturity in their games. They can't be counted out in the La Liga's top six clubs; in fact, I will rate them in the top four because they have had a wonderful performance so far, and they are playing to win something or qualify for European competition, either the UEFA Champions League or the Europa League, which is very possible.If I want to say here, of course, Barcelona performed very well at that time. Although it is not good to predict any team but the Barcelona team has been struggling with very good performances for the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Real Madrid did not perform as well, but with a unique team, they have a stronger form. I think most likely to win the UEFA championship because their performance is very good.
Of course the game will change because I have seen the strength and the defense is weak so other teams attack and can't get to the goal post easily.
