Manchester city is trying so hard with all their current performance at the UCL and Premier league, discussion hey have caught people's attention so much that they are gradually becoming the favourite for most people both in the UCL and premier league but then until after the knock out stage then I could possibly say for sure if they do have a chance at the UCL again this season or not.
It's true that it's been rea history to find a team getting the UCL title back to back, but it doesn't mean it's not possible, it's very possible and Manchester city may really want to do such but then this UCL is very competitive at this time with the likes of Arsenal who won them in the premier league if they should meet again at the UCL they are to encounter another difficult moment, there are so much to fave this season of which if they can get through, they could possibly make history with the UCL. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and other bigger teams have to exit before Manchester city can be sure again with the UCL.
If City could win the Champions League again this season it would be a great achievement and I'm sure Guardiola would really like to achieve this goal. But it’s not so easy to do, I see how strong Real is now, I think that if the lot allows this to happen, then Real can meet City in the final and it would be a great final. As for Bayern, Arsenal, Barcelona and other teams, they all have weaknesses that I think will not allow them to reach the final, although the example of Inter in the last final shows that sometimes a luck can allow not the strongest team to reach the final (but Inter were good).
City will become the second team to win back to back UCL trophy after real madrid which was winning UCL three times in a row. it's likely manchester city really needed to have some key players like rodri and de bruyne to win UCL again.
Manchester city can't do that without them all caused by they were the brain of manchester city gameplay. losing them all was giving disastrous performance for manchester city at this moment.
City needs to have its key players back again before it will able to win UCL. City will not able to win UCL again withhout them all.
