I cannot even imagine how the Madrid midfield will look like with the absence of luka Modric and Toni kroos. Even though Madrid may shop for their replacement, those person's cannot be effective as the duo. Modric gets better with each passing day, just like fine whine. Age doesn't even tell on him a bit, he still plays full 90 minutes for the los Blancos side. Though Carlos ancelotti is trying to groom in some youngsters to play along with Modric for now, so that with time, they can fit in.
Well the team would miss the absence of both players but the thing is Madrid would always look for a way to find better replacement for their departed player, they've already signed Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler and i believe they'll still get more quality players to make up for Modric and Kroos when they depart the team, the duo of Modric and kroos have been fantástic over the years and the team would really miss them but i think they'll be fine with Camavinga, Tchouaméni and bellingham.
Well i think maybe Kroos might leave this season cause Manchester City are already on his trail, therefore he could move to the EPL but Modric might decide to extend his contract for another year, he still look fit though he's old it doesn't stop him for giving good passes and Madrid would still need him based on experience and quality.
