If Dortmund does not stop their habit of selling their best players there is no how they are going to be successful competing with Bayern Munich. They need to follow this with alot of wisdom. I know that they are known for being up stars and in as much as this is their culture they do it better than other teams. And how things works is that every season must arise a star from the club. I am not against them buying low and selling high and I am not also against them promoting from feeders and selling high. What I am concerned about is if they can at least delay these transfers for one season. I mean allow such a player to play for two seasons before putting him off for sell. If Jude Bellingham was to be in Dortmund this season, that narrow miss of the title last season would have been gotten this season.
What amazes us is that they sell star players and can orbit other players to become star players in the next era. In the previous season Dortmund had haaland and they sold him to manchester city and after that they managed to make Jude bellingham's name soar and sold him again. I think dortmund are used to their way of stabilizing the team's performance and maintaining their finances.
This season, Dortmund are still quite strong in the bundesliga because they have not been defeated in the 7 matches they have played. Their strength is still quite strong and losing Jude bellingham won't have too bad an impact on them in the bundesliga. But in the Champions League they haven't won after drawing against AC milan and losing to PSG.
