Or even better, get all the freebies, bet a small amount, less than the value of the freebies, and then go home, independent of the result of those bets.
But in reality we all know that the majority of gamblers will just lose their winnings, and actually most probably that big win will never happen really.
It should be like that but we know humans want more of those items and even ask for more wins than they already get.
And what happens is that the majority of gamblers lose all their winnings. They became more and more greedy after getting their last win and didn't think that they were gambling. In gambling, they cannot expect to win continuously. They often experience loss and if they cannot control themselves, the loss will get bigger.
what do you think is the solution to get help to these people?
are you more into the individualistic side with a "too each their own" approach where there's some kind of natural selection and some will fatally lose anyway or do you take a more collectivist approach thinking that we should take care of all humans and get the person some support and network if they don't have the means to help themselves?
really curious on these possible points of view
The approach that needs to be taken for each gambling addict is different. We cannot take a more collective approach because each person is different. People who help gambling addicts also need to find an approach that suits each person so that the treatment process can run well. Of course, there must be support from each family or people closest to him so the gambling addict knows that the people around him still care about him. We must take care of ourselves before we can pay attention to and help the people around us. But in the case of gambling addicts, it requires people around them to help them overcome their gambling addiction.
