A good 'ol market manipulation, so the SEC can (rightly) say:
"See? Those crypto guys are playing with a manipulated market!"

The same sort of manipulation could happen with a stock, a currency or a commodity if the right publication sends the wrong signal. Regretfully it was Bitcoin today.
There's a bitcoin ETF on the TSX already but virtually nobody cares. I can't remember all the details but a little over 1000 shares represents one bitcoin. It barely trades a few thousand shares per day but it tracks bitcoin price well.
The ticker symbol is QBTC
ARK investments holds 128k shares.
