Currently, the quality of Rasmus Hojlund and Haaland is very different. But I like how Rasmus Hojlund responded to this. But actually Rasmus Hojlund is still young. He is still 20 years old. So he still has the potential to develop to a better level. But I doubt he will match Haaland's level. Because Haaland at the age of 20 is already very productive in scoring goals. In almost every match he always scores a goal. But this season, Haaland has experienced a slight decline. But he is still the best striker currently in the EPL.
I fully appreciate the mature attitude that Rasmus Hojlund has even though he is always compared to Haaland but he has full awareness here, I mean when Hojlund is criticized for being compared to Haaland he is always not angry but it is considered as criticism which gives him the enthusiasm to compete fairly with Haaland to become the top scorer in the EPL even though Hojlund is not as strong as Haaland, but if high enthusiasm is accompanied by great ambition it can definitely make Hojlund and I also see that this season, Haaland has a slightly unstable performance and he is not like last season who had very big ambition or just because he lost De Bruyne, who always collaborates with Haaland in every match because De Bruyne is one of the players who is very close to Haaland.
I feel a little sorry for Rasmus Hojlund, even though he has quite good quality but unfortunately his team mates cannot fully support him, currently United's Manchester United performance is very bad and this happens on all fronts so that quality players like Rasmus Hojlund are not able to do much.
So I think it is very unfair to compare Rasmus Hojlund with Haaland because both players are in different places.
Erling Haaland is a little lucky because he plays in the Manchester City team with full support from his teammates so Erling Haaland can bring out all the abilities he has so that Erling Haaland's true quality can be seen.
