Seriously? I didn't know that. I don't see any reasons to ban bitcointalk. It's not like it's promoting illegal activities or anything like that. Why the ban, though?
 
Found it. Bitcointalk has been blocked in Russia because of gambling advertisements.
 
One thing I couldn't understand was that they could have just banned gambling sites. Gambling services are part of bitcointalk. But it is not the main purpose of bitcointalk. Bitcointalk aims to educate people about bitcoin. Gambling can be seen as a side service. Banning the whole forum is pointless.
