It would be weird if they made products that have no demand on the market. Is it possible that people are just trying their luck so they can get as lucky as the poster above? Maybe they think the cost is worth the time or effort they spent to run the RIG. I honestly doubt manufacturers make these with no profit in their minds at all. Maybe some educational facility also buy a batch of these to do their demonstration? CMIIW.
