Knowledge or experience is not required in gambling but you need to have prior experience if you are in trading. So both gambling and trading is made for different kind of people.
In both gambling and trading, you have to be good at controlling yourself/your emotions. The main goal is not to lose more and more money. Whether you play in a casino or trade in shares/bitcoins, good results often come down to being patient, making reasonable choices and not trying to recover what you have already lost. So at one point, gambling and trading became a little similar at controlling emotions.
By the way, if you lose money in gambling, then there is no way to get the money back. Both gambling and trading are made for the common man to lose money but usually, we think the opposite as they are made to make us rich.
