Harry Maguire is said to be monitored by Milan these days. This must be great news for Manchester United to get rid of him easier. 
Honestly him and Lindelof have been really inadequate in the defense line so far. Varane and Martinez's absence has been felt very much because of this situation.
Manchester United can surely find a better defender than Maguire to do a good job when there is a need. Their defending has been horrible recently. I wonder why Milan are interested in him as well. Maybe they would think of him as a backup defender if he doesn't perform well there too.
I don't think Maguire has relevant skills and characteristics to play in Serie A. Players there have many tricks and they are not naive like Maguire so as a central defender, he will have more challenge when playing in Serie A against Italian players. Intensity of match in Serie A tends to fit with Maguire because with his slow speed, it looks good enough for him to play in Serie A but I think he will be exploited a lot by attacking and midfielders in Serie A.
Milan puts Maguire under their radar, I doubt that it is true as Maguire does not have skills to help them improve Milan defense. Maybe a loan transfer in January 2024 might be interested with Milan but spending fee to buy him is not what they will do.
