The first article I read was about Ledger Recover, and I would like to share some feedback and suggest slight corrections.
You sometimes call the feature Ledger Recover, at other times Ledger Recovery. It's
Ledger Recover without the
'y'.
It is worth noting that this feature only works with Ledger Nano S and Ledger Nano X hardware wallets.
This isn't correct. Ledger Recover won't be available for the Nano S due to memory limitations. The code is currently available only for the Nano X, and in the future it should go live for the Nano S Plus and the Ledger Stax.
While Ledger’s new update to retrieve seed phrases was released as a useful feature for those who want extra peace of mind.
Personally, I would be very worried about having my seed shared among their parties in any state or form.
This is especially concerning considering Ledger’s past data breach where thousands of user’s personal information was leaked.
The number is several hundred thousand and perhaps over a million. However, not everyone had all of its data leaked. Some only had their email addresses posted publicly, others much more.
