Arsenal has been one of the best teams not only this season, but also last season and that makes it so interesting to see whether Arsenal is able to squeeze out a bit more out of this season and finally make it back into the circle of the strongest clubs also in the Champions League. They haven't had the best start though with their loss against Lens, but it doesn't mean they can't still become one of the best. Nothing is lost yet and if they do their job for the remaining games, I am looking forward to see them take on the challenges in the knock out games.
Arsenal will meet Sevilla in the near future. They did lose to Lens but in the match after that, Arsenal won against Man City. I think they've got pretty good confidence. Let's try to see the results of the match against Chelsea, if they get positive results it will be good mentally before facing Sevilla, which we know has managed to get consecutive draws in the Champions League. It would be quite surprising if Arsenal were also forced to draw in the next match.
whoever makes it to the knockout rounds, I think will have to compete tough. all teams in the group have the same chances. Selin PSV may have difficulty competing with other teams.
Since last season, Arsenal has been in great form and I can confidently vouch for them when it comes to the English premier League and other England cups, but I am not confident of Arsenal's performance in the European competitions. They have issues adapting and representing well in the European competitions. Take last season for instance, Arsenal was in good form but they were eliminated from the Europa League and this season also, it is possible that they can also be eliminated from the champions league while they are still doing very well in the English football.
I understand that European competitions is more of experience than form, which is why Real Madrid is always doing well in champions league even when they are not in good form. Also why Sevilla will always win the Europa League when they get to the finals.
Arsenal should have made history last season, winning the Premier League in them best season since the reign of Arsene Wenger and since the last time he won the Premier League. It's also lovely to have them back in the Champions League. They are big sides in the competition who have been robbed a couple of times though in this competition
I don't have too much to say about adapting, I only think they should give more focus towards winning the Premier League to Champions League. They don't have the squad to challenge for that Champions League.
Real Madrid have this aura whenever it gets to the Champions League and the same I can say with Sevilla whenever they play Europa League. Most important for gunners now, would be to get a win or draw against Sevilla at home.
