If we don't come down firmly on AI now, eventually there will be automated posting services... Multi-accounting shitposters are too lazy to invent them themselves but they would certainly pay to have something write on their behalf. I'm reminded of the case of Petulino who claims to have paid a "friend" to write posts on his behalf... the only problem is his friend was using AI and slightly tweaking the results to evade the detectors.



I'm willing to bet half the posts written in those cricket and football discussion threads are AI-generated. They seem to be translated from some news source and then run through AI, but I can't exactly prove it.
