They are approaching the ODI game in the T20I mode that is why they are failing. I didn't expect this to happen at all and today everyone learnt a lesson about how someone shouldn't approach their game when chasing no matter how deep their batting line up is.
For the last wicket they had a 70 run partnership which helped them to stay away from the bottom of the table but from now to reaching the top 4 seems quite an impossible task for ENG.

Australia can beat easily Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Netherlands even England.
But Pakistan can qualify ,if Pakistan beat Bangladesh, Afghanistan, New Zealand, South Africa and England...
In 2023 World Cup, India is in the best position as it is being played in their home country and they will try their best to play in the final. India also gets an added advantage from the visitors as hosts. Every player in India played very well, batting line is strong and bowling. New Zealand are in good form they are playing well in every match. I think the final could be between India and New Zealand. If Pakistan can play well in their next matches then they also have a chance to play in the semi-finals. Pakistan's chances of winning the match with Bangladesh are very high. Along with Sri Lanka, maybe there is a fifty fifty chance for Pakistan to win. Now finally let's see how well Pakistan can play their next matches to play in the semi finals.
India holds the home country advantage as a well as have the best squad which was playing good cricket unlike the match situation. Rest of the teams were also very competing. Tomorrow we'll know whether it is New Zealand or India to take the lead position on the points table. Every team is giving their best, but the small mistakes were changing the match. I find India team strong, but once they reach Semifinals they'll be over confident or they'll be experiencing pressure playing on the home ground. Both could be difficult thing to overcome and win. Lets see what India can do.

India's biggest advantage is their familiarity with the pitch. For this they are getting a bit more benefits. Also the Indian team is in great form now. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in particular are in very good form. And this is why India is able to score high in every match. Although India's bowling line-up is a bit weak, they are able to do well in every match due to the excellent performance of their batsmen.
I am sure New Zealand and India will qualify for the semi-finals. However, it is not predictable which two teams will be in the third and fourth place in the table. I think South Africa, Pakistan, Australia have equal chances.
