Nice team looks like had a really lucky night yesterday in the game against Marseille. The player from Marseille got two yellows in a very short amount of time which resulted in a red card and soon after Nice were able to break the score to get to 1-0 which also ended in a win.Marseille we all know it is not in a good condition this season but against Nice even when they were running for the title they used to lose in the game that they played away like yesterday. For me Marseille is out of the title race this year while Monaco with all the ups and downs I think they can give it a try,I don't see any other team who can be as consistent when it comes to the teams fighting against Paris.
That's right, because I'm pretty sure that if Marseille hadn't lost a player then the match would have ended in a draw. Because their game is very balanced, and when we look at the statistics of this match then we will see their statistics do not show a far difference, or even it can be said that it is a balanced statistic from both teams. But sometimes that's how the game goes, luck can come at any time and can happen to any team. Marseille had to be satisfied with going home without bringing even 1 point.

Yes, it is clear that the match was very balanced and yes, the difference occurred when Marseille played with only 10 players after Leonardo Balerdi got a red card in the 78th minute. With a lack of player like that, then of course, Nice who is in its best form this season, has the ability to maximize it by making goals to win in this match. But regardless of the statistics in the match, I think Nice is basically not a weak team either because after all, in head to head records too Marseille has never been easy when playing against Nice. So yes, this kind of result I think is still a normal result for Nice and also Marseille in this match.

It was the heaviest punishment Olympique Marseille could face after Balerdi received a correct red card for a dumb foul play and instantly conceded the goal from the resulting free kick. It was an individual mistake that led to the win for Nice. I think all things taken into account, this would have ended as a fair draw, but Balerdi thought he would be smarter than the rest and play that foul. Quite ridiculous how he tries to act right afterwards as if he injured himself and as soon as the referee pulls out the red card he stands up and no signs of pain anymore. What a fail!  Grin
